These are amazing to see in person. I saw Ralph Lauren's silver F1 at the Boston museum of fine art a few years ago. The only one I've seen.

It's a damn shame it's in a museum not being driven. I've never had the good fortune of seeing on in person, sadly. You are a lucky guy.

I would guess its only on loan to the museum and that he drives it. There have been some articles posted here and there about his collection and he does drive everything that he owns. Granted, he owns so many that nothing gets driven very often, but everything is kept in running condition. Ralph Lauren's personal auto mechanic is probably the ultimate gearhead dream job.
